The National Drug Council (NDC) would like to extend a special thank you to its sponsors, RCIPS and other partnering agencies, the media, residents and visitors of the Cayman Islands for a successful 2017 Designated Driver (DD) and Purple Ribbon Bus (PRB) campaign.
This year marks seventeen (17) years since the inception of the campaign and we are pleased to announce that we had an increase in the number of overall participating bars, restaurants and clubs, were able to provide the public with maps outlining the bus routes as well as for the first time, provided an extension of this service in Cayman Brac.
We are delighted with the increased level of support garnered this year and the tremendous partnerships with our generous sponsors, in order to be able to offer the Designated Driver programme which ran from 1st December to 31st December and the Purple Ribbon Bus service for New Year’s Eve, 31st December 2017.
