Cayman Islands Student Drug Use Survey (CISDUS)
Since 1998, the NDC has been conducting the Cayman Islands Student Drug Use Survey (CISDUS). This research initiative is a census of all students enrolled in years 7 through 13 (grades 6-12) in the Cayman Islands that seeks to describe the prevalence and patterns of substance use as well as other health behaviours. For more than twenty years, the data from the CISDUS has been helping governments, public health professionals, youth workers, and schools develop and inform programmes and policies that ultimately improve the health and well-being of adolescents.
